The Multifamily Group

The Multifamily Group (TMG) is a Dallas-based commercial real estate brokerage firm and a proud Vista Bank customer. Their team consists of seven members, which includes Managing Partners Jon Krebbs and Paul Yazbeck, and five analysts who support their brokerage activity. They plan to add experienced brokers to support anticipated listings in 2018.
The Multifamily Group is starting construction on their new office in the State-Thomas neighborhood in Dallas which should be complete by June 2018 for which Vista Bank is financing the construction and the lot. Vista Bank recently sat down with Jon and Paul to learn more about their business.

When did TMG officially open for business?
January 3, 2018.

What exactly does TMG do?
Simply put, The Multifamily Group is a commercial real estate brokerage focused exclusively on the sale of apartment buildings. This means their group markets apartment buildings and negotiates the sale of those buildings. They are client-focused, and their clients look to them for one thing: results – and they deliver.
As Jon puts it, their work is “More art than science, we add value by providing ways to improve the property and increase its value.”
The Multifamily Group’s major markets are Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arkansas, and they currently have listings in each of these markets. In their first 45 days of business, TMG currently has 1,036 units in exclusive listings or in-escrow already!

How did TMG get their start in the industry?
Paul and Jon met at a national commercial real estate firm in 2015. They ranked in the top 25 out of 1,073 brokers in 2016 – and in 2017, their production was even higher.
It wasn’t long before Paul and Jon realized that they worked well together, and that’s how The Multifamily Group was born.
“We have complementary skill sets.” Jon said. “Paul’s an incredible negotiator with well-established client relationships. My expertise is in marketing and underwriting. Together we plan on opening more doors and closing more deals for clients.”

Opening doors and closing deals.

Why does TMG bank with Vista?
The Multifamily Group started banking with Vista because of the responsiveness and hustle of their lender, Jeff Lisle. “Jeff does what he says he’s going to do, and we appreciate that,” said Paul. “It’s clear that Vista values personal relationships just like we do here at TMG.
